Porto
Porto, known as the “Invicta” City, is the birthplace of Portugal, originally named Portus Cale around 200 BC. It’s famous worldwide for its Port wine, bridges, and a blend of ancient and contemporary architecture. The city’s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring monuments like the imposing Cathedral and the Clérigos Tower. Porto, the second largest city in Portugal, offers a mix of old and modern attractions.
On the opposite bank of the river is Vila Nova de Gaia, renowned for its Port Wine Cellars, where the wine is blended, aged, and available for tasting.

This tour includes a combination of driving and walking. We’ll begin by exploring Porto by car, covering key sites in the morning. After lunch, we’ll walk through the oldest part of the city to discover its medieval charm. Admission to São Francisco Church is included in the tour. This experience offers an authentic feel of Portugal’s second-largest city.
